Psalmanazer and Herodotus are the bosses of purified Zone 3, and represent the zodiac sign of Pisces. They can be found inside the empty oven of Area 3. They are exclusive to the 2025 remaster.

Appearance[]
Psalmanazer and Herodotus are identical in appearance. They are both fish, lacking adipose or anal fins, with their heads detached from their body, revealing a second face in the body cavity.
The faces on the fish heads have blank eyes, and have white cheeks. The faces in the cavity similarly have blank eyes, with a open-mouthed frown.
Personality[]
They are named after a con-man and a historian respectively, but they both speak in lies. Their misleading statements belie their emotional truths and their mortality, to which they give great importance.
In Battle[]
Psalmanazer and Herodotus have identical stats and competences. They will inflict the party with Vilified, preventing them from using their competences, they will then Defame them. Once Defamed, one party member will repeatedly get critical turns, after 3 turns, all damage done by the critical party member will be reflected back at the entire party. This relationship, however, will also apply to healing and status effects done by this party member.
They can also spawn three Gnosticī. Only one of the Gnosticī is real, and can be identified by its constant critical turns, and much lower defence. Upon killing the real Gnosticus, the fake Gnosticī will vanish with it.
Once one of the two Pisces is dead, the remaining one will be unable to Vilify nor Defame, and will go down easily.
They, along with Source and Maldicion, must be defeated in order to gain access to Justus.
